As a lifelong athlete, my love of movement started early. I was a gymnast, a competitive tennis and softball player, a skier turned snowboarder, and a rock climber. My dad instilled in me the importance of exercise from a young age, doing step aerobics in our living room for years. That early passion grew and eventually led me to strength training, which changed everything for me.

But what I love most about this work isn't the workouts. It's the people. My background is in sociology and psychology, and over the years I've realized that my real gift is connection, listening, understanding, and genuinely caring about the people I coach. It's personal for me, too. I recovered from an eating disorder when I was young, and it's given me a deep, lasting empathy for how complicated our relationships with our bodies can be. It's a big part of why I care so much about shifting the focus from how our bodies look to what they're capable of. My clients trust me with their goals, their fears, and their wins, and I don't take that lightly.

I believe getting strong is one of the most empowering things you can do, for your body, your mind, and your confidence. My goal is to help you discover what you're truly capable of, and to have a great time doing it. Because a tough workout and a lot of fun aren't mutually exclusive, they're kind of my specialty.
